2006 Guardian First Book Prize

YIYUN LI has won the 2006 Guardian First Book Prize for her first collection of short stories, A Thousand Years of Good Prayers (Fourth Estate, 2005). This is in addition to a string of other literary prizes she has won in 2005 and 2006. Congratulations!
